Big pic update
Check out the load of new pictures from this past 4th of July weekend. There are some real classy ones. So far I think the people’s favorite would be this one:
Rex Kwon Do for life.

The Postal Service begin work on new album!
The Postal Service, aka Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello, are working on a follow-up to their 2003 album “Give Up” on Sub-Pop records. So far, they’re got two songs recorded, but will be working on more after Death Cab for Cutie’s summer tour winds down. Get excited!
Constructive summer?
So this working full time gig isn't so bad, however the grind has left me wanting something more.
I go to work, come home, work out, then twiddle between the computer and what's on TV. Pretty boring life if you ask me. Oh the woes of Sacramento.
I've got two months until fall semester begins and I'm trying very hard to think of something constructive to do with my time after work. Unfortunately the only things I can come up with are: teaching myself PHP/CSS and learning the guitar/banjo. Neither of those items really get me out of the house.
I wish I knew more people who liked to party on weeknights.
If anyone actually reads this, send me your ideas.
The artist
For those who don't know, my buddy Reid Richardson is an aspiring artist. For as long as I've known him, he's been into some type of art. It wasn't until high school that he discovered painting. Since then, acrylic paint and canvas has become his favorite medium.
He recently gave me one of his personal favorites, as a house warming gift:

Last night he sent me a message, asking me to look at his new pieces. They are outstanding, to say the least. My new favorite is this one:

So here is your shameless plug Reid. Check out his website for more artsy goodness.
